Drink, the original fun bar opened its doors in May 2001 in Clive, Iowa. We opened under the philosophy that customer service is our number one priority, while providing a fun, energetic atmosphere for adults of all ages to enjoy. The concept was so popular we have added two locations in Minneapolis, MN?one downtown, and our brand new restaurant/bar in Uptown, complete with a rooftop patio to die for.
Our management team and service personnel are trained to ensure great customer service, a clean environment, complete with hit music from all genres to entertain you.
If your birthday falls between Sunday and Saturday, bring at least 3 friends, and you are drinking FREE all night, plus get a free drink Birthday Thursday t-shirt and souvenier cup. BUT, IF IT IS NOT YOUR BIRTHDAY, YOU ARE STILL DRINKING $2.50 CAPTAINS, LONG ISLANDS, AND PINTS!!!

Posted: 07.10.07 "Tyler pretty much sums up this place perfectly. I was there July the 3nd and was granted entrance for about 2 hours. I then left to walk a friend to her car. Upon returning I was told by this rediculous doorman that I could be let in because I was wearing a white shirt. I tried to explain to him I had been there for a previous 2 hours and still had my credit tab open. He told me thats not his problem and to come back the following morning. I really couldnt believe what I was hearing. I mean i'm sorry you are 28 and still working a door at some 2-bit Clive, IA bar, but you can still show a small amount of reason. Moderately priced drinks and a decent patio are still keeping this bar afloat. Hopefully not for long. "

Posted: 07.08.07 "dmbarfan is obviously a hater... i love drink and if you want to see beautiful women drink is the place... i think it's funny when people hate on other bars like dmbarfan... drink and crush are my favorite bars bc the service is excellent and i'm not worried about parking my nice car in the parking lot... i don't have to wait 20 minutes to get a drink... every night it's busy drink is a "staple" so many new bars come and go... so you should n't be a hater... be careful of the "flash in the pan" operators... it certainly says something for a bar when it's busy for seven years."

Posted: 04.25.06 "Well I guess everyone is in agreeance that Drink is probably the best patio bar far and away from any other place in the area. I like to go there on birthday thursday's because there is always a good crowd and there are always fun people to party with. Sometimes we go on Wednesdays if there is a good band and it is always a "stop by" on any friday or saturday.
The staff is always in an upbeat mood and seem to enjoy their jobs but I wouldn't go as far as Tyler B to say that maybe they enjoy their jobs too much. What is all that about anyway? Lighten up?
The music selection is very broad. You will hear anything from the 70's all the way up to current stuff... There is no real way to pin point the crowd because the happy hour brings in alot of after work types, to softball teams, to bachelorette parties to college types. I think that's what makes it fun.
On the other hand, when it gets packed, it gets packed and finding your way through the bar to find a friend or to go to the bathroom can be really annoying. In all Drink is a very diverse bar that seems to accomodate many diferent types of people. "
