These four friends from the Boston area jumped onto the mainstream pop-rock scene in 2006 with the release of their self-titled, Gold-certified debut album which sold over 700,000 copies and features hit singles “The Great Escape,†“Hero/Heroine,†and “Thunder.†With the release of their sophomore album, “Love Drunk,†Boys Like Girls continue their wildly-successful tour schedule, filling concert arenas with a sound that reflects an eclectic combination of the quartet’s musical interests and influences. This pop-rock quartet is known for their infectious joy, high spirits, and camaraderie on stage, performing songs such as “Check Yes Juliet,†“Secret Valentine,†and “Skyway Avenue†from their self-titled debut album. “We the Kings†hit the top spot on Billboard’s New Alternative Album sales chart and boasted over 2 million track downloads. Their sophomore album, “Smile Kid (S-Curve),†released in December 2009, is all about living life as happily as possible. The new album features popular single “Heaven Can Wait†as well as a collaborative effort with teen sensation Demi Lovato on the pop ballad, “We’ll Be A Dream.â€
