Colt Ford brings a diverse background and a fresh sound to the country stage, infusing his exceptional story-telling ability with cutting-edge music, inspired by both country and hip-hop styles to create a true blend of American musical styles. In his most recent album, “Chicken and Biscuits†Ford appeals to the all-American everyman just like himself in songs like the title track “She’s Too Good For That.†Ford gained popularity and developed a strong fan following with songs such as “Cold Beer,†“Ride Through the Country,†“Trash In My Trailer,†and “Saddle Up.â€
Ford’s involvement in the music business goes far beyond being one of the most fan-friendly performers at over 210 shows a year. In 2008, he teamed up with close friend Shannon Houchins and formed his own recording label, Average Joes, to stay in control of the music and let their vision come through Ford’s tracks.
