The Eli Young Band has all the hallmarks of youth: passion, energy, excitement. Their first single, “When It Rains,†stayed on the Hot Country Singles Chart for over 30 weeks. “Always the Love Songs†became their first Top 10 hit on country radio and landed the group performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as well as at the Grand Ole Opry and CMT Awards.
The journey to success has been long coming for the four friends that comprise the youthful Eli Young Band. The group first met at the University of North Texas in 1998 where they began to create music by mixing modern country sounds with solid roots-rock inspirations. The group continues to thrill crowds with their driving sound and never-say-die lyrical core in free-wheeling shows across the country.
