Newcomer Whitney Duncan’s love for music grew from watching Elvis videos with her grandfather at age four and blossomed into a career riding on the success of debut album, “Right Road Now,†which brings an intriguing new voice to the contemporary country music stage. Writing every song on the CD, Duncan celebrates love with songs like “Skinny Dippin’,†“Kinda Crazy,†“Fireflies,†“When I Said I Would,†“Burn It Down†and “The Bed You Made.â€
After performing at festivals and fairs across the Southern states throughout her childhood and adolescent years, Duncan teamed up with producer Mark Bright, who immediately took her under his wing and worked laboriously on her debut album. The depth of her song writing landed her a record deal with Warner Brothers and since then, Duncan has wowed fans with her self-assured, upbeat, and relatable songs.
