Ardency Rue
Ardency Rue is an acoustic duo a long time in the making. Adam and Darren first crossed musical paths at Avenue Studios in 2000 when they were both members of different bands. Darren had been playing with Flipside Down for a few years and Adam had just co-founded The Store. It didn?t take long for Adam and Darren to realize that they both had the same passion for music. Members of both bands soon formed a short lived project called State Dependent. Although the group didn?t last long, Darren and Adam continued to write the occasional tune together. Darren and Adam finally sat down in the winter of 2004 and listened to tracks they had recorded over the past few years and decided it was time to get serious. What emerged were 13 songs about life, relationships and how both had shaped Adam and Darren. After much discussion and searching the two finally decided on the name Ardency Rue?love and regret. Now on thier 3rd album release Ardency Rue continues to write and book shows in and effort to share their music with all those who live life and are continuously changed, occasionally scarred, and hopefully grateful for its confusing plan for us all. |
