Appare Japanese Steakhouse with Tappanyaki style grills. Opened in January 2007. Very contemporary, modern style with Japanese touches throughout. The cooks prepare your food right in front of you at the grills, or you can have a traditional meal at a table. Another way to dine at Appare is to eat in one of their two authentic Japanese private rooms in the back where the servers will knock before entering and you sit on the floor. Located at 3769 86th Street in Urbandale, right by Hollywood Video, The Game sports bar, and Urban Grille.
